How many times have you asked this very question to God?  I know that I have throughout my life, and I still wonder sometimes today.  I love this inspirational quote by Abraham because it brings me comfort and resonates deeply with me.

Life has been fun and joyous, even jubilant!  I have experienced sliding down tubing hills with several other people connected to me, screaming my head off at the exhilaration.  I have held a baby and watched it peacefully drift off to sleep in my arms.  I have witnessed the sunset over many places around the world and marveled at Earth’s natural beauty.

Life has been an expansive and growing opportunity.  I have learned how to love deeply and trust in another.  I have learned how to forgive and heal wounds.  I have learned how to let go and release patterns that hold me back.

My life has made a difference.  I have inspired children to see their potential and know that they are worthy of love.  I have supported my friends through life’s ups and downs.  I have continued to learn about myself and reconnect with my essence.

My life has desire producing value.  I have sought to open new gates of understanding.  I have taken pleasure in new endeavors that lead me forward.  I have dreamed big even when in the face of others’ doubts.

You and I are here to experience joy, fun, expansion, growth, desire and contribution.  Listen to the wisdom of Abraham and utilize the Law of Attraction by allowing yourself those opportunities.  Additionally, reflect on how you have already succeeded in many of them.  You will be surprised by your accomplishments.

As for me, I intend to live blissfully, expanding my heart to allow love to flow in and out, growing exponentially toward oneness, dreaming dreams that yesterday seemed impossible, and leaving each moment better than it was before.

This Law of Attraction inspirational quote by Abraham makes me say, “Yikes!”    If you’re like me, maybe you can relate to this post.  Sometimes I find myself  focusing on things I don’t want.  For example, last night while working, I noticed how high and frantic the energy of the people were around me.  I mentioned it to other co-workers and joked, “Perhaps the planets are misaligned tonight.”  Well, guess what?  The vibration of energy of those around me continued to be frenetic for the remainder of my shift. If I had stopped in the moment and noticed the serene people for even 17 seconds, I wonder if that would have shifted my evening from discomfort to tranquility.

The inspirational quote above from Abraham also makes me say “Yeah!”  Because other times, I am very clear and focused on what I do want.  I spend time visualizing, thinking about, and vibrating with what I want to say “yes” to in my life.  The universe and Law of Attraction match my vibration and life flows down river.

So…I’m setting intentions today to live by the Law of Attraction and  give my attention to what and to whom I want to attract into my vibration.  You try it and let us know what shifts for you.

As the world changes, and it seems to me to be changing at an amazing rate, I can’t help but think of the power of collective consciousness and the Law of Attraction.  Egypt is just one example of this.  The most populated country in the Arab world, Egypt, decided a few weeks ago to share an intention and gain their freedom.  Not only did the people of Egypt succeed in manifesting intention using the Law of Attraction, they co-created at warp speed and left the rest of the world amazed by their power of collective energy.

Guess what?  This type of opportunity is available to each one of us.  What if we, as Americans, decided to focus our collective energy on love…loving one another despite our differences, loving one another as human beings?  The transformation would be life changing.  Egypt has 81,000,000 people and the United States’ population is 310,100,000.  Wow!  Think of the Law of Attraction we could generate with that type of energy.  What we choose to think about expands?  Egypt thought of freedom.  What will we think of today?  Let’s change our collective consciousness and use the power of collective energy for the good of all.

This time of year so many people feel motivated to start fresh, to begin anew with the old passing and the new arriving.  Traditionally, our culture tends to use the process of making resolutions upon the eve  of the New Year. 

To clarify, a resolution is an aim to change or a goal for the future.  For instance, some people resolve to quit smoking or to lose twenty pounds.

While resolutions serve a purpose, more often than not, they are typically not achieved.  Why is this?  Maybe it’s because the person resolving to change is really not motivated to make the change.  Maybe there are pressures from family, friends, or society.  Perhaps, the resolution doesn’t work because the individual’s resolve isn’t heartfelt or sincere.  Maybe the resolution is coming from a place of leaving the present moment and focusing only on the future.  There are many possibilities to the failure of New Year’s declarations.

So, why is setting intentions any better?  Setting intentions is actually a practice encouraged all year long.   It is an intuitive, reflective, and heart-based process where one connects with self and universe.  It’s a path or journey, not a destination.  Setting an intention keeps a person in the present moment and unified with universal forces.  It is a flow of positive energy, and the outcome is unlimited and nonrestrictive.

When a person declares a resolution, usually it is a goal of what they want to change, and the focus of the resolution is on what the person does not want in life.  What’s wrong with this, you ask?  Well, whatever you focus your attention on expands.  You actually are drawing more attention toward what you want to release.

However, an intention is created in a space of what exactly you are wanting more of in your life.  The energy is focused on what you do want.

Still confused?  Here is a simple example of the difference between making a resolution and setting an intention.

Resolution:  ”This year I am going to lose twenty pounds.”  (future based and focused on weight)

Intention:  “I am excited that I am cooking nutritious meals that nourish my body.”  (present moment and focused on positive action and feeling)

If the resolution you set for the New Year isn’t quite working out for you, why not try setting an intention instead.  Here are a few simple steps to getting started:

1. Sit in a quiet space and close your eyes if you’d like.  Take several deep breaths to settle into the process you’re undertaking.
2. See if you can connect with the space within your heart where your desires and wishes reside.  Allow yourself to visualize those desires.
3. As you picture those wishes, get to the essence of those desires.  Ask yourself why you intend for those wishes to manifest.  If the intentions are aligning you with your true self, open your eyes and proceed to the next step.  (If your intentions don’t bring you closer to your true self then re-evaluate your desires.  You see, intentions, and even resolutions for that matter, are there to support our efforts in becoming the individuals we were intended to be.)
4. Write your intentions down in a positive flowing way that allows for flexibility and flow.  Visit your intentions daily to create a clearer and clearer picture of what you want.
5. Assess and reassess the intentions periodically and revise them as life dictates.

Remember…life is a winding pathway full of steep hills and vast valleys.  The views are always different, and the walk is often surprising.  Life was never intended to be a straight, flat road with unobstructed landscapes.   Embrace your unique journey and love its possibilities!

“When angels visit us, we do not hear the rustle of wings, nor feel the feathery touch of the breast of a dove; but we know their presence by the love they create in our hearts.”

This past weekend I had an angel visit me with a message from God.  She didn’t show up in a moment of prayer in a church, nor did she come at a time of great despair.  She came down an aisle with a loaded cart in the middle of Target while I was working folding clothing in the girl’s section.  We both were engrossed in our own worlds, I was attempting to finish a section of the store in a timely manner, and she was finding the last items on her Christmas wish list.  When my angel couldn’t find her last Christmas wish list item, a coffee thermos, she stopped and asked me for directions.  I answered her question, and we exchanged pleasantries.

Then, all of a sudden, her energy shifted.  She instantly became more grounded and at peace.  She touched my arm, and then her eyes welled up with tears.  I was definitely taken aback and concerned all at the same time.  Finally, she spoke words that for the rest of my life I will never forget.  Through her tears she said, “I have to tell you something…do you realize how much our Father in Heaven loves you?”

With those words and the sincerity of which they were spoken, I began to cry as well.  I thanked her and told her that that was the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me, and she replied, “No…thank you!”  I watched, completely stunned, as she pushed her cart toward the coffee thermoses.

The energy that was exchanged between the two of us made my heart feel like it was melting and swirling with an incredible love that I have never experienced before.  Even writing this down now, brings tears and that same sense of wonder.  I know that woman was an angel because of the love she created within my heart.

Keep your eyes open my friends, for I know that God and angels can be found anywhere, even in Target!  Happy angel searching and remember… you are loved so much by our Father in Heaven.

The greatest miracle is the opening of the human heart to the generosity of God.

I love hearning stories of miraculous events that have occurred around the world such as Mother Mary protecting the town in Bosnia, Medugorie. It was spared harm during the civil war even though it was three short miles from the front lines. At one point, bombs were even dropped on Medugorie; however, miraculously they never detonated. Images of Mother Mary have been witnessed in the town since 1981 until presently. Today one can visit Medugorie to witness the miracle firsthand.

When I heard this story, I had the same feeling of wonder I had as a child waking up on Christmas morning to find presents left from Santa under the tree. Miracles strengthen my belief in possibility. That is why Seeds of Intentions has selected miracles as the focus of December. For some reason, the world is a little more accepting of miracles this time of the year.

My husband and I recently experienced a miracle of our own. Last month, we had some financial blockages and were needing the flow of money to once again release. My husband went to pick up the mail one day and unexpectedly, within the pile of mail, was a check for $800. Neither of us recognized the sender nor the company that printed the check. Initially , because a temporary lack of faith, we both thought the check had to be a scam. Curiousity got the best of us though, and we took the check to the bank. Low and behold, the check was legitimate. As we left the bank, the two of us marveled at our miraculous blessing.

With so many people these days, driven by the media, I have observed a sense of hopelessness. It seems to me that strength has wavered. But I am here to tell you that today more than ever, we must hold onto our knowing, our belief in the improbable, and our soft spot in the center of our being.

We must expect miracles. They are not only possible, they are essential. God’s work, when accepted, will surpass our limited human constructs every time…just look at what God accomplished with Jesus.

So, please open your heart to the wonderment that life has to offer. Look for signs that you are not alone. Expect miracles around the next corner…or in your mailbox.

Each day upon waking becomes a day of Thanksgiving if that’s the perspective we decide to envision using the law of attraction.   If we choose, we can celebrate Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday in November.  We can get together with loved ones and say a prayer over a meal in honor of gratitude.  Or… we can choose to approach every morning including the fourth Thursday in November as if it’s Thanksgiving morning.  We can appreciate the 86,400 seconds God gives us 356 days a year.

Below is our Seeds of Intentions Internet Cafe video on a gift book entitled ‘Thank You”.

Resistance is a force of energy that hinders motion.  As evolving beings, many of us are understanding the importance of releasing old patterns and negative emotions in order to become more clear, more loving, and more peaceful.  Two tools that have assisted me with this process are EFT tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and TRE (Trauma Releasing Exercises).  However, on occasion, those techniques have not produced the results that I’ve wanted.  The Law of Attraction would state that perhaps my inability to release is do to my resistance.  When I am in a place of resistance, I may encounter a negative thought or emotion.  And, as the Law of Attraction describes, “What I put my attention on expands.”  So my negative thought or emotion is met vibrationally with my focus.

So what can I do about that?  Well, I can acknowledge the resistance and acknowledge the contraction.  Then I can allow it to be.  I don’t have to try to change it because that is resistance as well.  Just the awareness shifts the emotion from struggle to freedom and from dissonance to peace.  Each experience that I choose to see in this way naturally causes release and resistance disappears.

The economic state of our country, and the constant discussion of it, has inundated our televisions, our radios, conversations at the local coffee shop, and even our homes. Ninety-nine percent of the time the energy of the discussion is coming from a place of lack where there is not enough money. Honestly, it has been quite an edge for me personally and an opportunity to practice what I believe: the law of attraction. There is enough, and I create my own reality by the energy of my thoughts.

I can tell my economic story to myself and others from the current economic global consciousness, or I can tell my story from my place of knowing which says that I have unlimited abundance and am receiving it now, life is good and each moment is a joy to behold, and I am loved and have many people in my life to be thankful for.

Thoughts have a powerful vibration that create our current reality. If we have thoughts of poverty, we are attracting poverty. If we have thoughts of prosperity, we are attracting prosperity.

I choose prosperity. I love that I am doing exactly what I want to do. When I work on Seeds of Intentions, I am inspiring myself and others. I trust myself and listen to my own wisdom. I feel the positive vibes emitting from each person I meet. Life is good!

After reading an article by Ester Hicks entitled “Are Economic Business Slumps Natural Phenomena?”, I found Abraham’s wisdom to be quite profound and thought I would share it with you too.

Abraham says, ‘You are having glorious economic times, and there is not a reason for it to be otherwise for you individually. You are having glorious economic times. And there is not a reason for it to be otherwise for you as individuals, or you collectively. But don’t let what they are doing, collectively, affect you individually. It need not. Begin making statements that always keep you in the receiving mode: “I’m not affected by what’s happening outside of me. I’m only affected by the alignment of Energy between my desires. I’m actually benefiting by what’s taking place here, because I’m giving more thought to what I am really wanting. I am fine tuning my desires in a more powerful way. I’m pulling more Energy through me than I ever have before. And I’m more deliberately paying attention to when I’m in the receiving mode than when I am not.”

“I anticipate that I will thrive even more during these economic times. These are boom times for me. I’m clearer about what I am knowing. I’m in a much better place this time than at any other time. All is really well here, and the Law of Attraction will sort everything out, and we are all doing extremely well.”

These Law of Attraction words brought comfort to me today. I plan on repeating them often. I hope they help you as well.

We are limitless beings that have the potential to be anything and do anything as long as we drop our doubts, fears, and uncertainties.  One way to do this is to surround ourselves with what we do want.  That means to be in the presence those things and energies that inspire us. 

 Instead of placing the newspaper on our desk, what if we placed a sign that said, “Your life is a work of art, create it.”  Which item would be inspirational gifts to ourselves?  Which item would help you to reach higher? 

Instead of looking at a picture of destruction on television, what if you looked at a some wall art that said,  ”Follow your dream, for as you dream you shall become”?  Which would inspire you to greatness?  Which would put your spirit at ease?

Please remember that our cells are taking in information from all around us.  Be surrounded by what you want.  Give yourself or the ones you love inspirational gifts that support your dreams and theirs.
