The economic state of our country, and the constant discussion of it, has inundated our televisions, our radios, conversations at the local coffee shop, and even our homes. Ninety-nine percent of the time the energy of the discussion is coming from a place of lack where there is not enough money. Honestly, it has been quite an edge for me personally and an opportunity to practice what I believe: the law of attraction. There is enough, and I create my own reality by the energy of my thoughts.

I can tell my economic story to myself and others from the current economic global consciousness, or I can tell my story from my place of knowing which says that I have unlimited abundance and am receiving it now, life is good and each moment is a joy to behold, and I am loved and have many people in my life to be thankful for.

Thoughts have a powerful vibration that create our current reality. If we have thoughts of poverty, we are attracting poverty. If we have thoughts of prosperity, we are attracting prosperity.

I choose prosperity. I love that I am doing exactly what I want to do. When I work on Seeds of Intentions, I am inspiring myself and others. I trust myself and listen to my own wisdom. I feel the positive vibes emitting from each person I meet. Life is good!

After reading an article by Ester Hicks entitled “Are Economic Business Slumps Natural Phenomena?”, I found Abraham’s wisdom to be quite profound and thought I would share it with you too.

Abraham says, ‘You are having glorious economic times, and there is not a reason for it to be otherwise for you individually. You are having glorious economic times. And there is not a reason for it to be otherwise for you as individuals, or you collectively. But don’t let what they are doing, collectively, affect you individually. It need not. Begin making statements that always keep you in the receiving mode: “I’m not affected by what’s happening outside of me. I’m only affected by the alignment of Energy between my desires. I’m actually benefiting by what’s taking place here, because I’m giving more thought to what I am really wanting. I am fine tuning my desires in a more powerful way. I’m pulling more Energy through me than I ever have before. And I’m more deliberately paying attention to when I’m in the receiving mode than when I am not.”

“I anticipate that I will thrive even more during these economic times. These are boom times for me. I’m clearer about what I am knowing. I’m in a much better place this time than at any other time. All is really well here, and the Law of Attraction will sort everything out, and we are all doing extremely well.”

These Law of Attraction words brought comfort to me today. I plan on repeating them often. I hope they help you as well.

When we live simply, we are able to understand complexity.  Our energy can be given to those thoughts that move us forward, not given to those thoughts that hold us back.

When we let go, we are able to make room for possibility.  Someone asked me the other day if my current dream/intention is based in reality.  I asked that person if my dream was possible.  They said it was, and I responded, “Then it is real.”  If we can imagine it, it can be manifested as long as we can let go of those things that limit us.

Peace, love, and happiness are three of the most powerful, positive, life-affirming energies that we can align ourselves with.  What more do we need?

You are loved.  You are loved in an infinite way just the way you are.  You are celebrated for your beauty and perfection.

Grandmothers Rita and Beatrice

Seeds of Intentions is reeling from an amazing three-day event that we co-sponsored in Carbondale, Colorado. The highlight was a screening of the movie, For the Next Seven Generations. Two of the grandmothers, Rita Long Visitor Holy Dance and Beatrice Long Visitor Holy Dance who were featured in the film and are members of the Grandmother’s Council, were in attendance.  Along with those guests,  here is the list of other guests and attendees:

It’s so interesting how an intention can manifest in such an expansive way.  When we set an intention, we often limit ourselves to the outcome. Initially, our settled purpose for the Grandmother’s weekend was to provide an opportunity for others to bear witness to a movie that is focused on building a bridge to peace through relationships and inspire others to do the same. Well, so much more transpired.  We were blessed with being a part of several ceremonies, much healing, and divine guidance.  The planet is a better place today because of what occurred in Carbondale last weekend.

Lisa DeBussy, from Carbondale, one of the main organizers of the weekend, sent this profound and exquisite piece of writing to the rest of the committee on Tuesday morning after the weekend festivities had a chance to sink in.  There is no better way to describe what happened over three days than to let you read Lisa’s soul reflections:

From my heart,  Our sacred gathering

There was a moment in time when a thought became a dream, and the dream was spoken of, and mana was fed into it, and the dream stood up and became action. And the magic flourished. Like feathers in the wind, whispering to those who knew how to listen and could hear their song, people gathered and the manifestation began.

They came from around town. They came from different tribes. They came from the backside of mountains. They came from different states.  They gathered.

The houses were prepared. The grounds were cleansed. The sacred fires were lit. The sacred pipes were smoked. They sang, and they talked, and they listened. They played beautiful music, they played games. They spoke of prayers; they spoke of heartache and of ritual and of death and of healing. They spoke of ancient tradition and they witnessed new ways of being. Voices held quiet through tradition were set free on this land; speaking of hope, sharing prayer and power. Grandmothers and children, family and strangers united.

Time stood still. Night and day and earth and sky merged. Star beings came in close to bear witness. Rainclouds ushered in held their gifts until closing then bathed the lands in their cleansing rains. Rock beings, plant beings, animal beings, human beings, all became family. All the natural elements were gathered and the waters were blessed and the people were blessed and the planet was blessed.

Opposites became one, intricately woven to compliment and give each other strength. Friendships were formed, community sprouted with the fluidity of acceptance and open hearts and divine grace

Miracles took place. Healings were spontaneous. Everywhere there was continual sharing of abundance and laughter and playfulness and hearts and stories.

Gifts were given. Hearts were opened. Spirits were fed. Alliances were formed. The magic continues in us all, with each sacred breath.

I bow down low caressing the earth and breathe her in; I rise tall and touch the stars. I have breathed you in, and held you close and let you know our souls have reveled in the dance. Paths cross and join and cross and join.

You are now a part of me, and I am, a part of you.

For Law of Attraction techniques I refer to my own experiences and my observations of Forrest Gump….they seem to have a thread in common…

My experience has been that law of attraction and manifestations occur quickly and effortlessly when the following conditions exist:

• I am sincerely appreciating something (whatever it is)
• I have a lightness in my heart and am purely genuine about my feelings for this thing, experience, interaction, etc…
• I have no intention of receiving, experiencing… whatever it is I am appreciating about this thing
• I forget about it and have no expectations one way or the other about this subject
• I am happy, having fun, living life, and present in the moment (for the most part of many days)
• It shows up in magnificent ways I could have never imagined! (for a law of attraction confidence booster see my recent post about Pink!)

Now take a look at Forrest Gump. What do you remember about him? I remember him being:

1. Unconditionally loving (for the most part)
2. So appreciative of others in his life and only caring about being there for friends and family
3. Doing something out of the pure joy and satisfaction of doing something and having magnificent things manifest around him and in his experience like:

• running across country and all the hoopla surrounding that innocent endeavor
• playing championship ping pong
• meeting the President
• starting a successful shrimping company (with Major Dan and if I’m not mistaken he did so to fulfill the dream he and Bubba, who died in war, decided to do )
• assisting Lt. Dan in significant and moving ways…
• not to mention the unconditional love he held for and demonstrated to his “girlfriend”  Jenny in this movie

Forrest Gump was absolutely pure of heart, and if he felt he weren’t being that he would say so and recognize it. He never appeared to want for anything, yet it came to him with “Ease and Grace”.

Here’s what we can take from Forrest Gump, and this is not anything new…though we all appear to need to hear it again and again until it sinks in….until we get it….until the “vibration” of this ease and knowing is a part of our energetic make-up.

You can continue to want things and call forth things you wish to be, and have, and experience in your life. The path to effortless manifestation points in the direction of “Letting Go and Letting God”, or simply appreciating everything you want to have in your life experience.

Here’s a little exercise:

Think of something you really want in your life. Sit with it for a moment. How does it feel to want it?…really pay attention to this.

Now, keep that same thing in mind and simply appreciate that it exists. Sit with this for a moment. How does that feel? If you are sensitive, you may feel that this is much easier to do and is much more natural. The allowing of appreciation is easy.

When you want something, resistance and ego can get in the way. That’s why the feeling is not as flowing as the feeling of appreciation. Give it a try! Notice what happens when something you were appreciating shows up in some way. Consider what brought it to you and how it came about.

My Observations of The Law of Attraction and Manifestation

Ok…so I have intended to attract many opportunities into my life. In the realm of work, I have intended to attract work that I love to do, with people that inspire and elevate me to new levels of creativity and expression. I also intend to be graciously paid at the rate I want to be paid. Additionally I intend to allow many channels of financial prosperity to open up for me. I no longer limit my ability to earn on one single source, i.e. one job!

So….something I have noticed about myself in this process of manifestation…..I have found that with some topics, I have some “deep seeded issues” that need to be addressed. Many times these issues are so deep seeded they are unconscious now. I am sure I am not unique in that I have issues about money!?!

I finally recognized this clearly when the topic of pay came up for me. I was offered a temporary job to work for a relatively measly hourly wage. I was so irate, that I realized this was a “deep seeded issue” for me and the person who presented the job and offer to me was simply reflecting the beliefs I still held about myself in regards to work and pay. He was in fact a true gift to me!

I knew I had to address this issue and I did so by calling up family and friends and expressing my frustration and anger. “F” bombs were going off everywhere about this!

After two days of expressing how I felt, I was relieved. I felt like the “charge” around this topic had been diffused and was no longer there. I came to the realization that I am consistently highly productive, creative and appreciated. I was just not “letting it in”!

A week or so after this incident, I received five offers for work at the rate of pay I asked for! No questions asked. My point about this whole thing is that if you are frustrated with the law of attraction and manifestation, there may be a belief or “vibration” that you are holding that you have lived with for so long, you are unaware of it! If this is the case, you may never manifest on a certain topic until you recognize what limitations you have placed upon yourself in any regard on any topic.

Be aware, that if someone presents you with something you do not like, and it makes you angry or frustrated or any number of emotional things, YOU ASKED FOR IT! After you go through your emotional gyrations and reactions, STOP and reflect on how you attracted this situation to yourself! You are holding a “vibration” about this issue that life, the universe, God, whatever you want to call it is bringing to you. It truly IS a GIFT! You can choose to recognize this now or later….you can be sure it will continue to present itself until you let go, surrender, and/or transcend this issue!

It is a profoundly effective technique developed by Lee Beymer of Radiant Health Center in Aspen, CO. I am a living example of the power of Quantum Emotional Clearing^TM. It’s a powerful tool you can work with on your own! If the Law of Attraction and Manifestation is not working for you, you may want to consider what the deeper “issue” may be!
